Ciao e benvenuti My name is Rosanna Pirraglia and I am the third grade teacher. This is my thirteenth year as part of the Holy Trinity family, and I couldn't be happier. I bring with me many years of teaching experience. I have taught first and fourth grades and now third. I am teaching Social Studies to grades 3, 4, and 5.
I am excited to be part of the 21st century vision for Catholic education. I am looking forward to a very rewarding and successful school year. I also look forward to being partners to help your child be the best learners they can be.
I live in Philadelphia with my husband, Antonio, of 28 years. I have one sister who has two boys and a girl. Antonio and I have many nieces and nephews here in the US and in Europe. Thank God for Facebook and technology because we can now keep in touch faster and easier with family and friends in different parts of the world.
Our Italian heritage is very important to our family, and we try to keep different traditions alive.
I enjoy reading, walking, biking, and traveling. I like to learn new things and to have adventurous experiences. God has blessed me and my family with many wonderful things.
My goal is to educate the whole child academically, socially, and spiritually with God as the center and integral part of our day.
I want the children to become independent learners so they can be active participants in our community and in society. I want to inspire and foster a love of learning using the various Multiple Intelligence's to guide my teaching. Giving the children real world, hands on experiences is a crucial part of the learning process.

Dearest Parents and Guardians,
How quickly time flies! It seems we just started the year, and here we are now closing another school year. It has been a great pleasure watching the children grow academically, socially, and spiritually. We have had many wonderful memories that I hope the children will remember and cherish for many years to come.
I have enjoyed being your child’s teacher this year. Each and every child has touched my heart in some way. Their personalities and sense of humor have brought joy into my life and into the life of the classroom. I have watched them grow in kindness, generosity, service, and respect for one another. I am so proud of them and of what they have accomplished this year. They have worked hard and persevered, and I am very proud to have called them my children too.
There are not enough thank yous to go around. You have sacrificed so much for your child because you love them unconditionally. I thank you for helping your child complete projects and homework, for keeping up with the Spelling Choice Boards, and for those long nights you have spent studying with them. It has paid off.
Words can’t express my gratitude for the so many things you have done for our children and for me. For all the prayers, thoughts, gifts, and above all, your constant support in all we did this year, I thank you.You truly make this school a great place to work .
I will truly miss the children, but I know I will see them in September. May God bless and keep you safe throughout these summer months.
Have a relaxing and enjoyable summer.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Pirraglia
